WILLYS!

Gotta start with the most famous gasser of all:  Stone, Woods and Cook. Looks almost new, doesn't it? Still has the "wide" grill.

A bit later, but still with Olds power.

Still later, now black with a Chrysler.
Didja know they teamed with Chuck Finders on a 33.  Actually, I believe they just rented the name out to Chuck to help improve his bookings.
Think this might be considered a classic matchup?
Speaking of Mazmanian...
I hadn't realized that Hugh Tucker had driven for him.
"Fire the next pair."...well, one of them anyway.
Okay...how about KS Pittman?
Wonder why Gas-FX member, Rocky sent this...could it be because that's  Rocky's dad, Joe Pirrone, Sr.  in the far lane, putting a can 'o whupass on KS?
This is how Gassers were supposed to look!
Definitely a cool Gasser!
One of my favorite pictures. This recalls the real "glory" of the Gasser Wars. You could substitute just about any of the guys running back then in this picture!
Pretty tough to show the top Willys without Ohio George.
Another of Rich Carlson's great shots.
The Kamazi Koup of Gas-FX member, Jack Coonrod and Wayne Harry.
Later it was "Jack the Bear" Coonrod. That's Brad Anderson's Prefect in the background.
In the 80's. Jack was still at it.
Jack at the ANRA meet in Redding, CA in 1986.
Wayne Harry stayed in the game, too.

Let's not forget Ron Bizio's awesome 33 Willys Pickup.

...and Bones, Dubach and Pisano's beautiful 33 Coupe.
For you Eastern guys, Virgil Cates was no slouch either.
Here's the unrestored car in 1991.

And Charlie Hill's Dirty 30 and Filthy 40.

Among others, Northern California and the Pacific Northwest had Hamberis and Mitchell,
and Ron Rinauro's 33...
and Jack Frost...
and Hunt & MacQuarrie...
and the Panella Bros blown B/GS pickup...
and Satisfaction...
and Gary Lewis...
and the Hairy Canary, currently being restored by Gas-FX member, David Love...
and Savin & Upton...
and the Striptripper, and a whole lot more!
While Southern California, in addition to several mentioned above, had The Agitator...
and, one of my favorites, Greer & Barber's C&W car...
Kirby's Challenger, currently owned by Gas-FX member, Phil Quinto...
and the Energizer...
and Fantasia...

Hey, I know it was a Nitro coupe, but it was too cool to leave out!

and Garten & Braskitt...
and Jim Shores before he partnered up with Skip Hess...
and Lil' John Lombardo...
and MGM-C&O Hydro...
and Ambition...
Here's Sarcastic 2
The Spiegel Bros, out of the Sacramento, CA area.

and MORE TO COME!!!!!!!!
