| Hi, I just purchased an old gasser
that was owned by William Harmon, Jr. of Kokomo, Ind. It's a 54 Vette
with setback engine, was told it last ran a 409 (long gone) in the 60's.
Has a tube axle, coilovers, split wishbones. Rear is 5+ ratio, appears
to be Olds or Pontiac, either welded spiders or Posi. Had extensive
frame work, driveshaft loop, huge traction bars almost to firewall.
Wheelie bars made of chrome springs out back. Roll bar over driver. Was
supposed to run Kokomo, South Bend & Indy tracks. Any history of this car around? Thanks, Dave Dave Thurston Golden Valley, MN |
