This car was built in 1983, it is a Brazilian built Chevrolet Chevette hatchback, has a 4 bolt mains 350 Chevy, angle plug head, a TH 350 tranny and a dana 44 rear end. It was used in some drag race events in 1983/84/85, and was quite fast by our standards at that time, it was clocked 13.50 but it always used road race tyres, never had a set of drag slicks. Dunno if it is a real gasser, and by what I can see in the site it is not, but like in the rest of the world, sometimes the lack of truly American iron and excess of passion makes this hybrids come alive.
