~ Chuck Bell's '62 Corvette ~

Some photos of a '62 corvette I bought last September (2007) in New Hampshire - car was bought by second owner in 1964 (owned it 43 years) - modified through the mid '60's and finally painted in 1968. No changes since. Driven twice since the early '70's. Front axle set up is a '46 Chevy truck. Paint is hugger orange with fine gold metalflake.   The engine is a 1965 327 shortblock with the solid cam (bought from dealer in '65) and the original '62 heads and the '62 T-10 4 speed. I'm guessing the '62 shortblock was hurt pretty bad. The dash was changed over to SW instruments - otherwise the interior is stock and original.
I haven't got it running yet as I am putting in a new fuel system and rebuilding the brakes. No racing history I can find, but the car was always in the northeast. Hope you like it.
