You've probably seen what Hugh Tucker's roadster looked like "back then". If not, check out this page and this page for a look at the baddest AA/SR that ever roamed the planet! Here's a few photos of the newly restored version taken on the 1st of February when Hugh and Charlene passed through Redding, CA on their way to Pomona. By the time those lucky enough to spend time at the NHRA Museum see it, the car will be lettered in tho original "Ventura Motors" scheme. |

Let's see now...original wheelie springs, original springs, original ladder bars. If you look at some of the other pictures, even the front tires are the originals! Not likely he'll be making any high speed runs on 40 year old tires!!! |
