The C/Gas Revenuer. I'm guessing Opel. Name appears to be
"Wright"
Received the following on 25 Feb 2004:
|
Just happened upon your
website with the AA/GS and the B/G . One of the Opels called the Revenuer is
an Opel 1900 series owned by Max Hall. It won Best Engineered Car at the 1974
Winternationals in C/G. I was pretty sure it was the car and so I got into my
files and retrieved the info on it. Loved your site , brought back a lot of
memories.

The little back-motored VW's and a few Fiats tended to rule the H/Gas and
I/Gas classes by the late 60's and early 70's, displacing the larger 6-cylinder
cars that had previously held those classes.

3 Unknown Street Roadsters. Anyone got any names for these?
Got an e-mail from Bill Duke who remembers seeing all 3 of these cars at
Pomona in 1972, but doesn't know who they belonged to. He tells me that #2 was from Ohio and had a destroked hemi,
and that #3 was a Southern California car. Ring any bells for ayone?
