Its been too long!  I had to enter a model in your contest, even though it is not in the same league as the other entries.

This is a model of a real car, the Hemi Hurricane of Lamar "Bunky" Bobo of Rome, Georgia.  The real car ran A/G and also match raced with nitro against such cars as Hayden Proffit's Corvair.

The model is based on the Revell Stone, Woods, and Cook kit with an injected Hemi replacing the kit motor.  The decals are by Skip Samples, and the wheels are from Altered States.  The hood scoop is scratch built from sheet aluminum.  The paint is plain old Testor's Orange, applied thirty years ago.
