street roadster 1932 Ford Roadster, c. 1959-61 based on an original Monogram Drag Strip Hot Rod Deuce, I've retained the original 3 carb, flathead V-8 engine & the original wheels & tires. changes to the engine include the addition of pulleys & a belt, 3 port headers, radiator hoses, sparkplug wiring, fuel block, fuel lines & carb linkages. changes to the wheels include front brake backing plates that have been detailed & plumbed, also, aluminum wheel discs (front) & valve stems (rear) have been added. the windshield has been removed & the mounting points covered. simple round, flat taillights have been mounted, & various locations on the body & frame (including the grille shell & deck valance) have been pinstriped. A full length, dual exhaust system, featuring scratchbuilt "smitty's" & an Ohio license plate add to the street aspect. photos by mike napoleon. thanx, robbshelby@fuse.net |
