This model is the Polar Lights "Boss Austin" kit. I tubbed the chassis for a more current "this cars on the tar" stance. The body was painted Testors lime pearl paint over a white base. Decals came from the Slixx "Green Elephant" funny car sheet. When dry the body was clear coated with Testors clear gloss. The kit windows were replaced with green tinted acetate from an art supply store. Headers were made from evergreen tubing. Finally, the kit base was modified to accept the narrower track of the rear tires. These kits are great for quicky projects. That's it! Hope you like it.
