Here's my AFX Entrant Chevy II
Ran in the Mid West
At times even against Dick Harrell
(Pictured on the Left w/ Crew member below)
This one should be called the "One That Got Away"
The former owner had contacted me w/ a request to build his old race car. He only provided me w/ a few
of the old pic's to use as ref. mat. The rest of the tech stuff was in the form of "very rough" drawings.
I began w/ the Rat Packer & modified the wheel base
Adjusted the interior & chassis to fit properly. Various misc. "parts box" components
I had to Dremel down the back of the Grill & rescribe the front grill.
The "Stacks" were made from scratch (Black pin stripe decals were used for the tape).
Once again the Metalizer paints were used on the wheels and "Buffed" If you look
carefully I even dialed in the Positive & Negative Power Portals on the rear right tail light.
Special thanks to Joe Curtis at Fremont Racing for the Decals.
