This is the AMT 65 GTO kit built as its " first" stages when "Jungle Jim" ran the car.  I used " Miss Deal" chassis and tires, cut the floor out of the original interrior and modified it to fit the floor.  Using two bodies the car was altered in front and rear.  It also has a 76 MPC pontiac engine with hemi heads modified to fit the Pontiac block.  The engine is wired with fuel lines and plug wires.  Kit bashed blower and headers finish off the detail.  The lettering is all hand painted due to at the time of buiding this car, the decal's were not availible.  After Jungle Jim went on his way Lou Arrington installed a 392 Hemi and altered the car more and more as racing grew more intense.
