here's my last entry into the model constest..I have a 55 gasser and a 59 el camino M/P car that i have not been able to finish, been racin the big car!! anyway this one is an A/FX 64 Dodge. I started with a Linberg 64 dodge kit slid the rear wheelwells ahead using the 1/4's from a Johan 64 hardtop, the front wheelwells where just opened up...the chassis was also shortened and an A-100 truck straight axle is up front with the kit dana out back interior is stock doorpanels a-100 seat with the dash out of the Johan Petty plymouth stock car, partsbox rollbar, and polished foil cover over the rear seat area, the 426 hemi/ 4 speed came from the Johan dodge kit with a partsbox 6-71, mag and M/t V/C..the Hilborn four hole bugcatcher is one of Wendell Sowers' fine resin items....paint is plasitcote gloss white and chevy orange with decals made for me by Jack Smith from my sketches. it had orange windows in it but the more I looked at it the more I decided a car like this would not have ran windows as they would just be in the way!!......ERIK
