Byron here's another entry in the model contest.......
I started with an Altered States AWB 66 dart body it sits on a Polar lights Loggue chassis which is out of the box except for the Olds rear from the Maz kit, it also has been converted from laddrbars to a solid mount setup, the front uses hairpins instead of four bars, and has a more realistic cross steer setup made form partsbox stuff, it also has brake lines, and a homemade Art Carr pushbutton shifter setup. 426 Hemi is the kit block and heads, and tranny, with a resin hilborn intake and aluminum stacks from Mark Brown, Finned resin M/T valvecovers from Wendell sowers, it is fully plumbed with linkage, fuel lines, and wires, headers are P/L zoomies that i made into weed burners with brass tubing ends, wheels are resin five spokes from Wendell, with the P/L tires.....the body is as I got it except I added a chin spoilerunder the front bumper.it is painted testors pearl orange, with ruby red fogged over it all and silver panels, the agent orange lettering I made by hand cutting the letters out of gold foil and hand painting the black outline, the rest of the decals are from Slixx (Jungle Jim Nova to be exact) it has no windows or chrome trim just a plain ole funnycar......once again I am not a contest modeler by any means but I build to have fun and this one was a lot of fun it is my first resin body and also the first airbrush paintjob I have done in 10 years.......Thanks ERIK
