I want to say a big "THANK YOU!" for being a part of this deal. We've been pushing it on the SLM, and I know at least a few folks are working on stuff. George said you were going to do the A/FXers, roadsters, etc., too. Thanks again for making this thing go. Okay, here's my description of this model:

I wanted to build my own version of an early fuel roadster. The kit I began with was Monogram's "Drag Strip Hot Rod" I made the interior panels and the firewall from aluminum sheet. The head gaskets are the foil wrappers from Rollo candies. The fuel tank and pressure pump are scratchbuilt, as are the roll bar and seat. Spent quite a few more hours on this kit than most folks would think it is worth, but I had a blast!...Dan
