Here's another set of pix from Brett taken at Wentzville Nostalgia Drags in St. Louis in 1994. The strip is now relegated to history after being torn down last year.

Hello Byron, this is Brett Mathis. A few weeks ago now was the Wentzville Nostagic Nationals here in Missouri, and boy was it awesome. Sure it is no Good Guys event, but I think it will be someday. Here is several gassers that i saw there, some of which i have seen else where on your wonderful website, and some haven't. Thanks for the great website, Brett Mathis

I know you are super behind, but you might remember me. my name is Brett Mathis, about a year ago now you put some of my pics on from gassers around St.Louis, and i submitted a bunch of gasser photos from the Wentzville nostalgic drags from St.Louis, which isn't a big deal like Goodguys, however that dragstrip was torn down earlier this year and it was open for 50 something years with legends like Wayne Artega ran out and so on. I hope you still have then, and they are probably in the lllloooonnnngggg list of pictures to up load, but they need to be on your website because that was the last nostalgic drags ever from here in St.Louis, and we are all bummed about it. if you get Car Craft and Hot Rod Magazine, in the last month or two, it was the featured "Lost Dragstrip of the Month", and it will be missed from all of us around here. thanks for your time, Brett
