~ Greg Sy's 55 Chevy  ~

Byron,
Came across your site today. Have to say it's great and well done. I enjoyed your tri-five photo section. I myself picked up a 55 gasser style car that I put together last year. It's somewaht unique looking and would love to get it on your site to see if anyone might have old pictures of it or if it has any history. I ran into an old timer here in Ohio who says he thinks he recognizes the car as an old M&H Engineering car and believes at one time and it was ran locally as the Ohio Bell car. I wasn't able to substantiate anything, though. When I got it, it was a shell and in primer so no original colors or markings could be seen. The car is all steel except for the '65 vette scoop molded in the hood. It has a Ford ECONOLINE STRAIGHT AXLE with and OLDS/PONTIAC 5:13 REAR END IN IT. The fire wall is cut out, front frame section redone, motor set back and a polished aluminum firewall installed. I've restored it to my liking as far as colors and such.
Sincerely,
 Greg Sy
