I recently acquired a 1941 Studebaker that was a
gasser in the 60's. I was told it was one of two team cars, both 41
Studebakers, one red and one black. Both were supposedly powered with
Chevy engines. I have the red car and I'm trying to find out some of the
history on the car. I believe it was raced possibly in the
Ohio/Pennsylvania area but I'm uncertain if this is true. It still has
very faded professional lettering on the car which is difficult to make
out. I think it says: ???????? Automotive and crossed flags on the doors
and A/G on the body behind the doors. I found the car in Ashtabula, OH. |
