~ Peter "Madbrit" Broadribb's 56 Chevy 210 ~

~ SOLD ~

1956 Chevy 210

265 cu. in. fully Blue Printed motor. Dual 4 bbl Carter carbs, 3 speed manual transmission as per NHRA rules. Original Pozi rear end with 5.38 gears. (Manual transmission has overdrive which makes the car very drivable)

Car ran in H, N and O Stock classes during its career.

Partial Drag Racing history:

Jim Lamatrice from Sacramento California, established a "Standard 1320 Record" of 89.55 mph with an E.T. of 15.16 seconds. This was achieved at the Vaca Valley Drags in October 1965. I have the original Certificate signed by Doris Herbert (Drag News) and Dave Kempton (Standard 1320 Committee). Jim won many events up and down the West coats during the 60s and early 70s.

Car comes with 2 Trophies, one from the 1970 Winternationals and the other from the 1970 Fuel & Gas Championships at Bakersfield. Also a gold fender cover for Class win at Lions Drag Strip. Held a Standard 1320 Drag News Record for MPH and ET, Certificate available.

I bought the car from Jim Lamatrice. I also have a bunch of Press Clippings, along with Participants Credentials, some pictures of the car at various tracks such as Lions and Orange County and magazine Pictorial picture too.

Totally rust free as far as I know. Always a California, Nevada or Arizona car and spent many years only racing so low miles too. New Corvette yellow paint, engine compartment and inside trunk lid was detailed. Lettering by Bob Thompson.

I have quite a few current pics, so ask for any particular shots you may need to see.
