This is a one of a Kind
Vintage Style Gasser that was well engineered using all of the Highest
Quality Parts with incredible attention to Detail. The car was completely
custom built and was very recently completed using either all new or
restored original Nostalgic Performance Parts. Many years went into this
truly amazing example of classic nostalgia combined with state of the art
engineering. Turn key show / street / strip car, what a ride..... Very
solid engineering, best of everything, not a hodge-podge rattle bucket.
The Body is a Frame Off Restoration with a Stock Henry J Frame which has been
Boxed and reinforced for Strength. It has Radiused Rear Quarter Panels which
have been nicely reinforced for Strength and Rigidity. The Firewall has been Recessed
and Custom Built as are the Floors and Custom Transmission Tunnel and Filled
Dash. It has a Custom Hood Scoop for Clearance with the Vintage Crossram
Induction, Filled License Plate Holes , Custom Rear Bumper. This Vintage Style
Henry J Gasser is Painted in Dupont Chrome-Base/Clear in 1960 Chevrolet Light Yellow.
The Grill and Rear Bumper are Custom Painted in Viper Silver Metallic. New
Windshield and Door Glass with New Window Channel, New Window Weatherstripping
and New Window Fuzzies. Nice and straight, no scratches, dents, or dings, paint
looks like glass. Fresh vinyl graphics are based on an old gasser from way
back when.
INTERIOR
The Interior Panels are Painted to Color Match the Body Color with a Custom
Built Filled Dash with Custom Floors and Transmission Tunnel and Custom Console.
The Custom Dash is Filled with NOS Vintage Stewart Warner Gauges and Steering
Column Mounted Moon 1/2 Sweep Tachometer. The Interior sports a 4 Point Roll
Bar with Custom Racing Bucket Seats with 4 Point Racing Harnesses, Tan Carpeting
, New Tan Headliner, All New Interior Windlacing, IDITIT Custom Steering Column

INDIVIDUAL LINES. THE FRONT END IS A NEW SPEEDWAY MOTOR ZERO DROP STRAIGHT AXLE
WITH LATE MODEL GM DISC BRAKES , CHROME SHOCK ABSORBERS , NEW PARALELL LEAF
SPRINGS , REVERSED CORVAIR STEERING BOX , STOCK FRAME IS BOXED AND REINFORCED FOR
STRENGTH , ENTIRE FRONT END IS ALL NEW COMPONENETS , ALL NEW STAINLESS STEEL
BRAKE LINES ON ALL 4 CORNERS WITH ALL NEW STAINLESS BRAKE LINES FROM FRONT TO
BACK WITH GUARANTEED STOPPING POWER WITH THE 4 WHEEL DISC BRAKES. THE EXHAUST CONSISTS
OF A SET OF 60'S VINTAGE NOS BIG TUBE FENDERWELL HEADERS RUNNING INTO 3"
AND OUT TO DYNOMAXX ULTRA-FLOW MUFFLERS AND THEY DUMP IN FRONT OF THE REAR TIRES,
VERY NICELY DONE!!!!! THE FUEL SYSTEM CONSISTS OF AN ORIGINAL HENRY J FUEL
TANK WITH A CUSTOM SUMP WELDED IN, INTO TWIN HOLLEY BLUE PUMPS WITH DUAL FILTERS
WITH 1/2" STAINLESS STEEL BRAIDED FUEL LINES RUNNING INDIVIDUALLY TO EACH NEW
CARBEURATOR, EACH HAVING ITS OWN REGULATOR AND PSI GAUGE. CHASSIS IS VERY CLEAN
AND DETAILED UNDERNEATH.
The work and time that went into building
this Nostalgic 60's Style Gasser is Clearly seen in the Quality of the finished
product. The Builder of this Vehicle has had Several Custom Rods featured in
Rod and Custom and HOT ROD Magazine and this Vintage Gasser will undoubtedly make
its way to a nice magazine feature. The car drives surprisingly well and is a Blast
to cruise on the streets. Henry J is Scary Fast!!!! The Motor sounds absolutely
Awesome and the Ride is surprisingly nice for a straight axle car. The Interior
is actually quite comfortable and although the car looks like its sits a
mile high in the front, its very easy to drive and is not much different from driving
any other Hot Rod once you use it a few times. Everything on this car has
been Custom Built for the most part and the craftsmanship is second to none. I
Welcome anybody to some and inspect this Cool Henry J Gasser in person. 200 miles
on this car since its completion. The car was built to look as though it was
used as a Stock Henry J Driver for a few years before being turned into a Drag
car. The Builder went through 5 Different Henry J parts cars until he got all
of the nicest Original pieces possible to build this car. He bought one car just
to get the MINT Original Henry J Alligator Grain Interior Panels. The car has
many Original (early 60's to early 70's) and some Reproduction Performance Decals
on the Quarter Glass (both sides) which all by themselves are fascinating,
a couple are dragstrip decals dated back to 63 & 65. CLEAR 1951 HENRY J TITLE AND
