This truck was Wayne Harry`s 1941 A/GS Willys pickup. I bought this in
1992. I had a funny car cage installed and certified to 7.50. I made
a new bed with new rear fenders. Bed is steel and fenders are glass
have mold for rear fenders. Cab is steel, doors are glass. Front end
is 2 piece hood-fenders glass. Front end is dropped axle with
coilover shocks. Rear is ladder bar with double adjust Koni coilover
shocks. Rear end is 9'' Strange axles, 33 spline, Strange aluminum
spool 4.56 gears, drum brakes. Electric fan & water pump. They tried
to burn this truck down--wont happen! Engine is 496ci eagle rods, Callies
crank, SRP pistons, Rerher-Morrison Dart aluminum 320cc heads.1150
dominator, Edelbrock Victor manifold, Crower cam, MSD billet slip collar
distributor, MSD 7al-2 ignition, Blaster coil, Monster recall tach, liquid
filled gauges, Transmission-Powerglide turbo pump hardened shaft, Hughes
soft hit converter 5000 stall, Thompson trans brake, Hurst quarter stick
shifter, shifnoid, Fuel cell 12gal., Holley blue pump, Russel filter.
Headers with Flowmaster collector mufflers, still have zoomies. This
truck runs mid 9`s and because it was setup to go much faster it is a fun
rush and not a scary ride; it handles very good.
