1956 Chevy BelAir Gasser Project 1956 Chevy 2 door hardtop Gasser project. Car has 1 piece fiberglass front end installed with the factory metal brackets that attach to the existing factory holes on front of frame. Rolling body - no motor, trans, glass or trim. What you see in the pictures is what you get. Original VIN# intact, original body tag intact, title lost. With original VIN# intact shouldn't be a problem to get one. This car has a lot going for it. A frame off restoration was started. The frame was sand blasted and painted, the body bushings were removed and then the car was set back on the frame. Poly bushings are only about $69.00 for the whole new set. Frame very solid. The drip rails on the roof are very solid and it's also very solid around the roof line where the windows meet the roof. The pillars that hold the area behind the doors are very strong and sturdy. Usually they wobble but these don't. The trunk and tail pan area is pretty solid considering age of the car. Roof is very solid with little or no dents. Car will need new floor pans and rockers. Front floors are already cut out and ready for the new pans. Post engine mounts still in car. The doors still line up real nice with the body lines. Would make a nice low budget Gasser or street rod as the hard work of removing front clip and installing 1-piece fiberglass front is already done and those 1-piece front ends with the factory mounting kits are getting expensive. This 1-piece front end is in real nice shape for the age and would make the car nice and light if you have a fast motor laying around and you don't have anywhere to put it. Hardtops that are worth building are getting hard to find. $1,995.00
