How about we start of with a few flathead diggers?
Kathy Lloyd at the wheel of "Flathead Jack" Kathy Lloyd at the wheel of "Flathead Jack" From Jim Ullman on 18 Oct 03: "This is Earl "Doc" Floyd's old digger from Battle Ground, WA. He's been running a nitro injected 310 inch Desoto in it for a number of years. Had the flatty back in for CHRR. With the Desoto and a "load" they were going WAY too quick and fast for the 7.50 index they usually run. Very cool guy who's been around since I was a kid at Balboa (Eugene, OR) in the 60's. They were running in the mid 7's @ over 190mph with the Desoto in the digger. Jim" Cool twin flattie Comp...Info from Jim Ullman on 19 Oct 03: This is the Lewis Bros. twin flatty Fiat Comp coupe. It runs at Woodburn quite a bit. Jim Is this a flathead??
Below:  I'm afraid I can't ID most of the diggers, but there's sure some nice shots here!
